Holiday Rental Terms & Conditions
Ø BOOKINGS/PAYMENTS: A reservation fee of 50% is required within 14 days of making a booking. Non receipt of this fee within 14 days will mean the booking will be cancelled. BALANCE OF ACCOMMODATION TO BE PAID BY BANK TRANSFER 14 DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL DATE. NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUES AND DO NOT HAVE EFTPOS FACILITIES.
Ø CANCELLATIONS: Deposits of the 50% reservation fee are NOT refundable. If requested, the deposit may be transferred to another date in the non-peak period. It is NOT possible to transfer the deposit to another property. The 50% Deposit for Christmas payments will be refunded, only after the property has been rebooked for the entire period of the original booking.
Ø KEYS: Keys will not be made available until all monies have been paid in full. Keys that are lost or not returned at departure will be charged to the tenant. A late fee of $50 will be charged if you will be arriving after office hours. If you know that you be arriving after office hours, please contact us so that we can make arrangements to have the keys at the property for you. The late fee will be due and payable via bank deposit before check-in. (Office hours – Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, Saturday 9am – 4pm and Sunday - Closed).
Ø CHECK IN AND VACATING TIMES: The premises will be available for occupation after 2.00pm on the day of arrival and are to be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure, unless prior arrangements have been made with our office. Failure to vacate the property on time will incur a penalty equal to one night’s accommodation. All times quoted are local and keys are to be returned to the office.
Ø NUMBER OF PERSONS: The number of occupants quoted at the time of booking must not be exceeded; should you exceed this amount you will be asked to vacate the property immediately without monetary compensation. Note that properties DO NOT SUPPLY LINEN.
Ø PETS: ARE NOT PERMITTED IN/ON THE PROPERTY AT ANY TIME. (THIS INCLUDES THOSE BELONGING TO ANY VISITORS).
Ø LINEN: Linen is NOT supplied in most of our properties, blankets/doonas and pillows are. You must bring you own sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels.
Ø NOISE: You are responsible for the behaviour of any guests who may make a daily visit. Where applicable, you must abide by the Regulations of the Strata Management. These are provided to every group on arrival, or will be displayed in the units. You as the tenant will agree to not cause or permit nuisance and annoyance, not interfere with the reasonable peace, comfort or privacy of you neighbours.
Ø FISH: DO NOT CLEAN FISH on/in THE PROPERTY. Fish cleaning facilities are provided at the boat ramp. Garbage collection is early on Tuesday morning. Only rubbish in the provided Sulo Bins will be collected. Please place these bins at the curb side on Monday evening.
Ø DAMAGES/BREAKAGES: Please notify our office of any breakages/damages to the property. Any deliberate damage to a property or its contents will result in immediate cancellation of your booking without monetary compensation. Any damage or breakage to the property or its contents must be paid for.
Ø CLEAN: Every effort is made to ensure properties are clean for your arrival. We would appreciate you leaving your property clean & tidy. Please wash, dry and put away used cutlery, crockery, pots/pans and utensils. Dishwasher should also be left clean and empty. Rubbish should be placed in garbage bags and placed in the outside bins. Please note the rubbish collection days displayed in the property and place outside accordingly. If a BBQ is supplied at your property it must by left clean upon your departure. A fee of $50.00 will be charged for failure to do so. Do not leave refuse inside the property when you vacate.
Ø SALE PROPERTIES: All advance bookings are accepted on behalf of the current owner. If the property is sold we do not accept responsibility for decisions made by the new owner, however we will endeavour to you alternative accommodation if needed.
Ø Every precaution has been taken to establish the accuracy of the information we provide on the accommodation we manage but it does not constitute any representation by the owner or agent.
Ø All information given at time of booking is current; however, these tariffs are subject to change without notice. If a tariff is increased it will apply to all bookings, even if a deposit has already been received.
